Track Overview
Thruxton holds the distinction of being the fastest circuit in the UK. Built on a wartime airfield in Hampshire, its long straights and sweeping high-speed corners produce average lap speeds that exceed every other circuit on the calendar. It is a BSB venue and a serious test for any motorcycle rider.
Circuit Layout & Key Corners
Allard / Campbell
A very fast, banked right-hand sweeper — the most demanding section at Thruxton. Very high commitment required.
Church
A medium-speed chicane that breaks up the high-speed flow. Good technical braking and accuracy needed.
Who Is This Track Good For?
Novice
Not recommended for beginners. Thruxton's very high speeds make it unsuitable for first-time track day riders.
Intermediate
Thruxton rewards confidence and smooth throttle application more than most circuits. The high-speed sections require gradual approach.
Advanced
